In January 2021, the import volume of zirconium ore was 128781.979 tons, with a month on month growth of 5.2% and a year-on-year growth of 105.61%. In February 2021, the import volume of zirconium ore was 65415.681 tons, a decrease of 49.2% on a month on month basis and 34.27% on a year-on-year basis.

From January to February in 2021, the total amount of imported zirconium ore was 194197.66 tons, a year-on-year increase of 19.76%.

February is the traditional Chinese Spring Festival, and all industries have entered a long holiday. Therefore, importers import more in January and less in February, which is in line with the cyclical law. The rise in the overall market import volume also reflects the expectation of market price growth.
